Scholarship term and value:
The scholarship covers tuition fees as well as a €8,000 subsistence grant. All that beneficiary students need to pay annually is an admission fee that covers the cost of the local tax and bollo.The scholarship can be awarded for a maximum of two consecutive years to candidates for a master’s degree, or three consecutive years to candidates for a bachelor’s and single cycle degree.
The University of Padua’s Departments also provide partial scholarships; these do not include remission of tuition fees. The sections on the call for applications (link below) state the amounts, durations, and requirements for each scholarship, including those for scholarship renewal when appropriate, as well as for maintaining eligibility for the scholarship.(Padua University)
Eligibility:
To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
- Do not reside in Italy.
- Hold a non-Italian upper secondary school certificate (for applicants seeking bachelor’s or single cycle degrees) or a non-Italian bachelor’s degree (for applicants seeking master’s degrees) allowing admission to the Italian university system.
- Do not possess Italian citizenship (except in cases of dual citizenship including Italian).
- Apply for one or more English-taught degree programs of the University of Padua in accordance with the procedures and within the deadlines set. Up to three degree programs are available for application.
Application instructions:
If you fit the above qualifying standards, you will be automatically evaluated for the selection process. Other than the ones needed to apply for the chosen degree program, no further application or particular documents need to be sent. The deadlines are either 12 March 2023 or 11 April 2023, depending on the program.The deadline is June 10, 2024, for degree programs with unlimited access for which scholarships were not granted during the initial application period.
